Difficult ground conditions, including upto 10m of fill, were overcome by Amplus applying a combination of pile types. Amplus installed 242nr 350mm diameter 500kN CFA piles using a Casagrande CFA425 piling rig and 111nr 250mm diameter 500kN permanently cased rock socketted piles using a Casagrande C6 and TD610 piling rigs. The piling was completed in 43 days in 2006.
